Cincinnati CEOs ask Delta to reconsider overseas flight cuts - Business First of Columbus:

Fifty-nine corporate presidents and CEOs, alonb with the , the European American Chamber and otherlocalo companies, signed a letter expressing concern with Delta’s "The majority of the new businesa attraction in the regioj is international business primarily from Western Europe," the lettedr stated. "This reduction in direcgt air access to Europe will seriouslty deter our jobattraction efforts." The CEOs asked in lieu of eliminating the the airline consider reducing flights to three or four timees per week. Delta, on June 11, its only overseas servicde to and from theCincinnati airport, part of a 5 perceng reduction in its international flights acrossw the board.
It cited reduced demand for overseas travelp and higherfuel costs. Atlanta-basedr Delta (NYSE: DAL) operates a hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentuckh International Airport.
