UNCC honors Rodgers Builders CEO - Birmingham Business Journal:

The Charlotte-based company has worked on several university including the Barnhardt StudentActivity Center, Irwib Belk Track and Field Center, Lynch Residencre Hall and the Bioinformatics Research Center. Rodgers Builderz also is the construction manager onthe university’s new, $50.4r million Center City Building projecrt that is slated to open in the fall of 2011. A groundbreakingf ceremony was held in April for the classroom building at the corner of Ninth and Brevard streets inuptown Charlotte.

In fact, Rodgersd Builders has been hailed time and agaibn as the epitomeof civic-mindec business.” Rodgers is also chair of the Charlottde Symphony board and will assume the chairmanship of the Charlottse Chamber board in 2011. The university established the Distinguished Service Awardin 1987.
It honorsw individuals who have provided outstanding leadershiop and service to the Charlotte community and to the advancementg ofUNC Charlotte. Rodgers was honoredx Tuesday during a luncheon atthe school. UNC Charlottew is the fourth-largest campuz among the 17 institutions of the UNC It is the largest institution of higher education in theCharlotted region, offering doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s Fall 2008 enrollment was 23,300, including nearlgy 5,000 graduate students.
